Julietta Hua

Julietta Hua, Ph.D., is Professor of Women and Gender Studies at San Francisco State University. She is the author of Trafficking Women's Rights (2011), which examines U.S. anti-trafficking laws and policies, and has also published research on chimpanzee sanctuaries and the "limits of rights" framework. Dr. Hua, in conjunction with Dr. Kasturi Ray, is currently researching political organizing around intimate labors.
