Cynthia Chapman is the Community Outreach Professional for the UArizona Consortium on Gender-Based Violence. She manages the on campus Sexual Assault Response and Resources Team (SARRT) and a DOJ Grant expanding forensic exam accessibility near campus. She has her B.A. in Criminal Justice from Metropolitan State University.

Chapman began her career at Georgetown University as a police officer with the Department of Public Safety and continued her work dedicated to serving others at the International Association of Chiefs of police. There she coordinated a Great Lakes States summit on gun violence and co-authored Taking a Stand: Reducing Gun Violence in our Communities. Cynthia worked for 9 years building an internal process review program with a defense contractor. This program focused on classified programs, government contracts, and risk mitigation. Cynthia worked with the State of Arizona as an investigator with Adult Protective Services.  Cynthia is an active member of the IMPACT of Southern Arizona Women of Impact committee, empowering Southern Arizonans with resources required to pursue a stabilized and enhanced quality of life.
